We are delighted to announce that goNORTH are set to host the second stage at the inaugural Brew at the Bog Festival on Saturday 5 May 2012. We are delighted to confirm that goNORTH 2012 will take place on the 6th and 7th of June next year. The twelfth edition of Scotland’s premier Creative Industries festival will again be held across several venues in Inverness City Centre.

Last year proved our most successful goNORTH to date, and boasted the broadest range of creative industry activity in the event’s eleven year history. For 2011, we also introduced the goNORTH Festival Tour, an exciting development which saw us deliver some fantastic showcasing opportunities for emerging bands and film makers at five of the finest independent festivals in the country.

We are delighted with the success of goNORTH 2011 and our inaugural Festival Tour”, said goNORTH Director for Screen and Broadcast, Amanda Millen.“The response to last year s event was fantastic, with a significant increase in attendance across all elements. We are really looking forward to delivering another great programme in 2012, and are working hard to ensure goNORTH remains one of the top creative industry events on the calendar.

Last year’s event was outstanding, and generated some excellent opportunities for emerging artists and music businesses, added Director for Music Shaun Arnold. We are looking forward to bringing another top class programme of industry panels, workshops and live showcases to the north of Scotland, and are really excited about starting our 2012 campaign.

As always, all panels, worshops and live showcases will be free and open to the public, with industry and media requested to register.
